When I scan pictures from magazines or books, the image on the screen has a lattice pattern on it.
- Due to the resolution of the scanner, the scanner can emphasize the texture of the paper that the image is printed on. This is a normal. To reduce or eliminate this effect, scan the image using a 'DE-SCREENING' setting or filter in the scanner software. Using Epson Twain this setting can be found in the Image Type dialogue box. Using LaserSoft Silver Full this setting can be found in the Filter dialogue box.
