Support Wearables Pulsense Epson PS-100 Pulsense Band

How does my Pulsense device measure steps and distance when I ride a bike?

  • When you walk, run, or ride a bike, the Pulsense device will use the movement of your arms to detect a step. However, when you ride a bike, it may also count steps if it detects vibrations from the road.

The distance you travel is calculated based on your stride and the number of steps you take. When you ride a bike, there is no stride, so the calculation may not be accurate.
