Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprised how well this works! I spent a lot of time looking for ways to scan a big collection of slides and negatives I've collected over the years. I was shocked how beautiful some of the scans from the Perfection look! The price was more than reasonable. Most of the colored slides I've created with this look like digital prints! Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple and easy to use I have enjoyed being about to save all of the photography items my hubby did. This is easy for me to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As advertised I purchased this photo scanner for the express purpose of scanning multiple photos at a time. Although the instructions to do this were a bit hard to find, I eventually discovered that selecting to print "thumbnails" got the job done. I am very satisfied with the product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth Every Penny Setup was easy and seamless. I purchased the V370 primarily to scan old family photos, many dating back more than a century. To date the V370 has exceeded my expectations. I've only had to delve into the 4800 dpi range a few times, but this machine is a champ and comes through with amazing detail when tasked. Eventually I expect to convert several decades worth of slides and expect similar results. Great investment!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from V370 photo and film scanner I bought this scanner to preserve my thousands of slides to a digital format. The included tray for the slides and automatic features of the scanner made it easy to convert my collection to a high resolution format. I chose the Epson V370 after looking into many others converters, and I made the right choice. In addition to positive and negative film scanning, the V370 scans photos to perfection and documents to various formats including PDF.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Worked okay, then started putting red lines over negatives I liked it fine until I noticed these transparent parallel red lines over all of my negatives. I don’t think they were there when I first started scanning the photos - either that or the colors of the first negatives hid the parallel red lines.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok, but fussy It took two tries to get Windows 7 to recognize the software. The scan quality is fine, but I don't like that there are two different menu selections (icons) to use the scanner - an auto scan and one with more advanced choices. Why not just use one menu with further choices. Note, if you add a USB extension cord to move it further from the computer, only a few extension cords will work. Truthfully, I like an earlier version of the Epson Perfection that I also have.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very Poor Instructions/ SW out of date The CD didn't have the current SW for my macOS 10.13.6. I downloaded the Driver from your Web site only to discover there where 6 other files required and mixed in amoung them was the 1st Driver twice more! After 3 installations I found the Guide.pkg in Finder and "ran it again"! Now I see the OCR software from ABBYY FineReader is version 8 and I need 12 for macOS High Sierra. HOW DO I GET IT? Scanner still not working. About to do the Reboot of my mac. Totally not impressed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid scanner, nice footprint, doing well I've just received a lot of old family materials that I want to scan for my purposes before offering the "hard copies" to other family members who might want to actually store them. While my [Epson] printer has a scanner, I wanted a slightly larger size but still compact enough to put on my desk so I could scan easily while also doing some other work. The Epson V370 has proven great for this purpose. While I rate it at 5-stars, there are a few aspects I would like to see improved or changed. The scanning does NOT reach to the edges of the glass bed and the lost scan is greater at the three edges (top, bottom & hinge-side) you're most likely to use for alignment of the material. The "loss" is about 1/8-inch or 3mm, so it is not inconsequential. I can't think of any reason why this couldn't be expanded. Also, other software I've used sets JPG quality with 0 as lowest and 100 as best (but also largest file size). Epson uses 0 as 0% _compression_ (i.e., max file data) with 100 being max compression. This had me chasing my tail for a bit so just fair warning. I've used lots of Epson equipment and have always been very satisfied.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Seems to be good but installation problems on HP laptops Could not install on my HP laptop running Windows 10, did not recognize USB port/driver and caused software install to lock-up. However the installation seemed to work OK on an Acer tower (Windows 10) and a MacBook.
