My product doesn't detect photos placed on the scanner glass when I use the optional flatbed scanner dock. What should I do?

• Try the following:

  Note: The optional flatbed scanner dock requires the Epson Perfection V19/V39 scanner.

  • Make sure the scanner glass is clean and free of fingerprints, smudges, etc. (If the scanner glass is dirty, clean it with a soft dry cloth. If the glass surface is stained with grease or some other hard-to-remove material, use a small amount of glass cleaner on a soft cloth to remove it. Wipe off all remaining liquid.)
  • If you place multiple originals on the scanner glass, make sure they are at least 0.8 inch (20 mm) away from each other.
