The quality of my printed output is unacceptable. What should I do?

  When scanning, scan at 240-300 dpi if you wish to print your images at their actual size. If you intend to increase the size of the printed image, scan at a higher dpi.Note:In the course of troubleshooting this problem, you may try cleaning the print head. When you are using the print head cleaning utility for Mac OS 8.6 to 9.x, you must click the Close button when you see the screen below.
