Can I select a numbered print resolution (dpi) in the driver software?
-
No. The print resolution is determined by other driver software settings.
In Windows, the Quality Option and paper Type settings determine the print resolution.
In Mac OS X, the resolution is determined by the Media Type setting and the position of the Quality/Speed slider (if you've selected Automatic as the Mode setting) or the Print Quality setting (if you've selected Advanced as the Mode setting).
In Mac OS 9.x (9.1 or later), the resolution is determined by the Media Type setting and the position of the Quality/Speed slider (if you've selected Automatic as the Mode setting) or the Print Quality setting (if you're in the advanced driver settings window). To open the advanced driver settings window, select Custom as the Mode setting and then click the Advanced button.
