How do I print from a USB flash drive or external device?

    Connecting and Using a USB Flash Drive or External Device

    You can view and print files from a USB thumb drive or other external storage device, such as an external hard drive. Before you connect your thumb drive or device, make sure the product is turned on but not printing.

    Note: Epson cannot guarantee the compatibility of your device. Make sure the files on the device are compatible with the product.

    1. Remove any memory cards from the product.
    2. Insert your USB thumb drive or the USB cable that came with your device into the USB port on the front of your product.
    3. When you see a message that the device is recognized, select OK.
    When you finish printing, make sure the access light on the drive is not flashing, then remove or disconnect it from the product.

    Caution:
    Do not remove the USB drive or turn off the product when the access light is flashing, or you may lose photos on the drive.

    Viewing and Printing Individual JPEG Photos

    You can select individual photos for printing as you view them on the LCD screen.
    1. Press the  home button, if necessary.
    2. Select Memory Device.
    3. Select JPEG. You see a screen like this:

      Note: If you have more than 999 JPEG images on your device, the images are divided into groups, and you must first select the group you want to display.

    4. Scroll through your photos if necessary and select a photo you want to print. You see a larger image of the photo:
    5. To select the photo for printing, use the icons on the screen or the numeric keypad on the product's control panel to enter the number of prints you want.
    6. Do the following as necessary:
      • To adjust the image, select Adjustments, and select your settings.
      • To change the print options, select Settings, and select the necessary options.
      • To view additional photos and select others for printing, select the arrow icons and repeat the selections above.
    7. When you are ready to print, press the  Color button.

      Note: To cancel printing, press the  Stop button or select Cancel.

    Viewing and Printing TIFF Files

    You can select and print files in the TIFF format from a memory card or other device.
    1. Press the  home button, if necessary.
    2. Select Memory Device.
    3. Select TIFF. You see a list of the available files.
    4. Select the file you want to print. You see information about the file.
    5. Select Proceed.
    6. Do the following as necessary:
      • To print more than one copy, use the icons on the screen or press a number key on the product's control panel.
      • To change the print options, select Settings, and select the necessary options.
    7. Select Proceed.
    8. When you are ready to print, press one of the buttons.

      Note: To cancel printing, press the  Stop button or select Cancel.
