The option for 2-Sided Printing (Windows) or Two-sided Printing Settings (Mac) is gray or not available. What should I do?

• Make sure you use a paper type and size that supports this feature. Automatic double-sided printing is only available if you select plain paper and one of these paper sizes in the printer software:

  • Letter (8.5 × 11 inches [216 × 279 mm])
  • A4 (8.3 × 11.7 inches [210 × 297 mm])
  • A5 (5.8 x 8.2 inches [148 x 210 mm])
  • Executive (7.25 x 10.5 inches [184 x 267 mm])
  • B5 (7.2 x 10.1 inches [182 x 257 mm])
  • User defined paper size (5.8 x 8.2 inches [148 × 210 mm] to 8.5 × 11.7 inches [216 × 297 mm])
