I replaced an ink cartridge, but my product shows that the same ink is expended or not installed correctly. What should I do?

The cartridge may not be seated properly, and might need to be reseated.
- Turn on your product, if necessary.
- Lift up the scanner unit.
- Follow the instructions to move the printhead carriage to the replace position.
- Press the ink cartridge down until it clicks into place. (If a cartridge is properly seated already, you may not hear a click.)
- Check the LCD screen to make sure the cartridge or cartridges are installed properly.
Note: Epson ink cartridge printers are designed for use with Epson cartridges only, not third-party cartridges or ink. Other brands of ink cartridges and/or ink packs are not compatible and, if described as compatible, may not function properly or continuously. - Close the scanner unit. The product starts charging the ink.
