My printout contains garbled characters when I print from my computer. What should I do?

  • Make sure you are using the correct driver. Select the EPSON 600Q for COMPAQ Presario as your default printer driver. Check to see if there are any stalled print jobs in the Spool Manager. Delete all stalled jobs and resume printing. The interface cable may not be securely connected. Turn off the printer and computer. Disconnect and reconnect the cable on both the printer and computer. Make sure the printer is fully-shielded and meets the printer's specifications.
