Why does the paper jam in my product or not feed correctly?

• The Paper Feed Hopper of the Stylus Color 440 may have come off of its post on the right side (see figure below for a top view facing the rear of the printer). This can occur due to possible transportation jarring or a mis-insertion of the Paper Support Tray.
  
  
  The Paper Feed Hopper can be put in place by gently pulling the right side of the tray away from the hopper and maneuvering the hopper to meet and close over the tray's post (see below).
