Is the step count accurate?

• Yes. However, some activity can affect the device’s accuracy. It may not count a step if you don't move your arms when you walk, or if your arm movement is not synchronized with your steps (for example, when you carry an object). It may count steps if you move your arm(s) as you would when you brush your teeth or dry your hair with a blow dryer.
