Do I need to replace the maintenance box?

• No, the maintenance box does not need to be replaced. Instead, you need to replace the waste ink bottle when you see one of these messages on the control panel:
  • Prepare empty waste ink bottle
  • Replace waste ink bottle and press OK

  Note: The maintenance box needs to be installed for the printer to operate properly.
