What does the Media Bar-Code Tracking and Identification System do?

• The automatic media barcode tracking and identification system will keep track of what media is loaded and the amount remaining on the roll. When a partially consumed roll is removed, the printer will automatically print a small barcode on the edge of the paper that will identify the paper when it is reinserted.
