I recently upgraded my Mac computer to OS X 10.6 and now the projected screen image is noticeably darker. What should I do?

• Apple changed the default Target Gamma setting on Snow Leopard from 1.8 to 2.2. Do the following to change the setting to 1.8:
  1. Open System Preferences and click Displays.
  2. Select the Color button and click Calibrate.
  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to calibrate the monitor.
  4. On the Target Gamma screen, change the setting to 1.8.
