Why does the image have a blue, red, or green cast or haze when I connect my video equipment (DVD player, satellite receiver, etc.) to my product using a component-to-VGA video cable?

  • The problem could be caused by the connection or configuration of your video equipment. Check the following:
    • Make sure your component-to-VGA video cable is properly connected.
    • Select Component as the Input Signal setting in the Signal menu. See Adjusting Signal Settings.
    • Make sure the connected video equipment is set up to output video to component video.
    • Try using another cable.
