The product does not turn on when using Crestron over an HDBaseT connection. What should I do?

  • This is a known power issue with some Crestron HDBaseT products.

    Epson uses a Valens chipset for HDBaseT communication that is sanctioned by the HDBaseT Alliance. Crestron also uses Valens chipsets in their products, but the firmware on these chipsets may be outdated and could be causing the power issue with the projector.

    Crestron products with chipset firmware version 130.51.1 or later, do not exhibit this issue. If your Crestron product is using an older firmware, contact Crestron for support.
