How do I project images from a USB storage device?

  • You can use the projector's PC Free feature to project compatible images, files, or movies from a USB device. Connect your USB device or camera to the projector's USB-A port and switch the projector's display to this source. When you're done projecting, make sure you disconnect the device from the projector correctly. Turn off the device and unplug it, if necessary, and then disconnect it.

The devices must be USB-mounted devices, not TWAIN-compliant devices, and must be USB Mass Storage Class-compliant.

Note: Make sure Content Playback is disabled in the projector's Operation menu.

Note: The Epson 880X uses the USB port to power the Android TV. You will need to disconnect power to the ATV device to use the projector's USB port and USB PC Free feature.

    Supported Slideshow File Types

You can project these types of files using the projector's Slideshow feature.

Note: For best results, place your files on media that is formatted in FAT16/32. If you have trouble projecting from media formatted for non-Windows file systems, try formatting the media for Windows instead. You may not be able to use the security features on certain USB storage devices with Slideshow features. When connecting a USB-compatible hard drive, connect the AC adapter supplied with the drive. The Slideshow feature may not work with USB device security features.
