I see a paper jam message when I scan a receipt longer than 20 inches with Epson ScanSmart. What should I do?

• To scan a receipt longer than 20 inches, the Auto Detect (Long Paper) setting must be selected in Epson ScanSmart.

  Note: The resolution must be set to 300 dpi or less to use this setting.

  Do the following:
  1. Open Epson ScanSmart on your computer.
  2. Select Settings > Scanner Settings > Scan Settings. Then select Auto Detect (Long Paper) as the Document Size.
     
  3. Click Save.
  4. Click Close.

   

  Note: Depending on the length of your receipt or document, you may not be able to scan at a resolution higher than 200 dpi.
