My computer does not recognize the product when I use a USB connection to set up the product. What should I do?

Make sure you restart your computer after you install the product software. If that does not help, try the following:
- Make sure the product is turned on.
- Make sure Document Capture Pro (Windows) or Document Capture (Mac) and Epson Scan 2 are installed correctly. Reinstall the software, if necessary. You can download the software from the Downloads tab on your product's support page.
- Disconnect your product from your computer, then reconnect it.
- If you use a USB hub, connect the product directly to the computer.
- Make sure the PC Connection via USB setting is not disabled on the control panel.
