Does my product have a self diagnostic feature?

You can run a printer operation check to determine whether the problem comes from the printer itself or some other source. If the results are satisfactory, the problem lies in your software settings, the interface cable, or your computer.
If the check page does not print correctly, you have a problem with your printer. Please see the following suggestions for possible solutions.
- Make sure both the printer and computer are turned off.
- Disconnect the interface cable from the printer.
- Make sure paper is loaded in the printer.
- Hold down the Roll Paper button and press and release the power button.
- Continue holding down the Roll Paper button until the Processing light starts to flash, then release it. The printer prints its ROM version number and a nozzle check pattern. If the check page doesn't print, then the printer may have a problem which needs to be serviced.
- To end the check, turn off the printer. Then reconnect the interface cable and turn on your printer and computer.
