I installed new ink cartridges and my product seems to be doing a long cleaning cycle. Is this normal?

• Yes. It takes about 2 minutes for the Epson Stylus Photo RX595 to charge the ink delivery system when you install or replace the ink cartridges.
  
  Note: Never turn off the Epson Stylus Photo RX595 while it is charging the ink delivery system (unless the printer hasn't moved or made noise for more than 5 minutes). This initialization is a normal and necessary process. If the Epson Stylus Photo RX595 initialization does not stop after 5 minutes, turn the Epson Stylus Photo RX595 off and contact Epson technical support for assistance.
