Can I select a print resolution by indicating a specific dpi (dots per inch) setting?
-
No. The print resolution is determined by other driver software settings.
In Windows, the Quality Option and paper Type settings determine the print resolution.
In Mac OS X, the resolution settings depend on the Mode setting:*
Note: To access the resolution settings in Mac OS X, select Print from the File menu. Then select Print Settings from the pull-down menu.- If you've selected Automatic as the Mode setting, the resolution is determined by the Media Type setting and the position of the Quality/Speed slider.
- If you've selected Advanced as the Mode setting, the resolution is determined by the Media Type setting and the Print Quality setting.
* The Epson Stylus CX9475Fax software works only with Windows XP, XP Professional x64 Edition, and Windows Vista 32- and 64-bit. It does not support Windows 2000 or Macintosh.
