My product doesn't detect my photos placed on the scanner glass when I use the Copy/Restore Photos function on the control panel. What should I do?

Check the following:
- Make sure the scan bed glass is clean and free of finger prints, smudges, etc. (When cleaning the glass, spray the glass cleaner onto a cloth and then wipe the glass. Never spray glass cleaner directly onto the scan bed.)
- Make sure the photos are placed on the scan bed correctly. See Place Originals for Copying, Scanning, or Faxing.
- If you're placing two photos on the scan bed, make sure they are not larger than 4 × 6 inches.
- When copying two photos (up to 4 × 6 inches), place them 1/4inch (5mm) apart as shown below.
