Can my product still send and receive a fax if an ink cartridge is expended or not installed?

• Yes, you can continue to send and receive faxes if an ink cartridge is expended or not installed. Incoming faxes will be stored in the printer's fax memory and will be printed automatically once the expended ink cartridge is replaced. The fax memory can hold up to 180 pages.
  
  To send a fax, press OK (on the WorkForce display screen with the expended ink message), then select Remind Me Later. Press the Fax button and then follow the instructions on the display screen.
