My product doesn't detect my photos placed on the scan bed when I use the reprint/restore function on the control panel. What should I do?

• Check the following:
  • Make sure the scanner glass is clean and free of finger prints, smudges, etc. Clean the scanner glass with a soft, lint-free cloth (microfiber is recommended), moistened with a little glass cleaner. Do not spray glass cleaner directly on the glass and do not press the glass surface with any force.
  • Make sure the photos are placed on the scan bed correctly. See Place Originals for Copying, Faxing, or Scanning.
  • You can scan multiple photos, as long as they are at least 1.2 × 1.6 inches (30 × 41 mm) in size and place them 1/4 inch (5 mm) apart as shown below.
