I see an ink recognition message after inserting the ink cartridges provided with my product. What should I do?

• The inks may not be seated properly, Epson recommends reseating the ink cartridges.
  
  Do the following:
  • Press the OK button.
  • Open the scanner unit.
  • Remove all the ink cartridges. (Squeeze the tab on each cartridge and lift the cartridge up to remove it.)
  Note: Make sure you have removed the yellow tape from the bottom of each ink cartridge.
  • Insert the ink cartridges and push down each ink cartridge until it clicks into place. (If a cartridge is properly seated already, you may not hear a click.)
  • Close the scanner unit.
  • Press the OK button. The printer will start charging the inks.
