I installed new ink cartridges and my product seems to be doing a long cleaning cycle. Is this normal?

• Yes. It takes about 12 minutes for the printer to charge the ink delivery system when you install the first set of ink cartridges. When you replace the ink cartridges the printer takes about one minute to charge the ink.
