What is my product doing after I install a new ink cartridge?

• It takes a few minutes for the printer to prime the ink delivery system when you install the first set of ink cartridges or replace an ink cartridge.
  

  Note: Never turn off the printer while it is charging the ink delivery system (unless the printer hasn't moved or made noise for more than 5 minutes). This initialization is a normal and necessary process. If the printer initialization does not stop after 6 minutes, turn the printer off, then turn it on and check if charging is still in progress. If it is still in progress, contact Epson.
