My product doesn't detect my photos placed on the scanner glass when I use the reprint/restore option on the control panel. What should I do?

• Try the following:

  • Make sure the scanner glass is clean and free of fingerprints, smudges, etc. (When cleaning the glass, spray the glass cleaner onto a cloth and then wipe the glass. Never spray glass cleaner directly onto the scanner glass.)
  • Make sure the photos are no larger than 5 x 7 inches for one photo or 4 x 6 inches for two photos.
  • When copying two photos (up to 4 x 6 inches), place them 1/4 inch (5 mm) apart as shown on the LCD screen.
