I see horizontal or vertical lines in my printout. What should I do?

• Perform a nozzle check from the printer's control panel, then do one of the following:

  • If there are gaps in the nozzle check pattern, perform a print head cleaning.
  • If there are no gaps in the nozzle check pattern, try the solutions below:

    Horizontal Banding

    • Select the correct media type in the media settings using the printer's control panel.
    • Perform a print adjustment in the media settings using the printer's control panel.

    Vertical Banding

    • Perform a print quality adjustment using the printer's control panel.
