When I turn on my product, it displays a message telling me to perform a power cleaning. What should I do?

The power cleaning is a standard built-in maintenance procedure and the printer is programmed to display the message approximately every 20 days. When you see the message, we recommend that you select No. Then do the following:
After the printer powers up, print a nozzle check and look for any missing or deflected nozzles. If the pattern prints properly, the printer is ready to print. If there are missing or deflected nozzles, run the standard cleaning (instead of the power cleaning). The power cleaning uses a large amount of ink, so you should run it only when necessary.
