s0 macOS 10.12 Sierra Support

The paper types in my printer driver are different since I upgraded to macOS 10.12. What should I do?

  • You need to make sure you have the latest software installed for your printer. Go to the Downloads tab on your product's support page and download the latest Drivers and Utilities Combo Package Installer or the latest Printer Driver. If you downloaded the Drivers and Utilities Combo Package Installer, open the file and follow the on-screen instructions to install the software.

    If you selected Printer Driver, you need to update the printer driver through Apple Software Update. Follow the instructions on the Downloads tab, then do the following:

    1. Download the EPSON Printer Patch v1.00 from the Downloads tab on your product's support page.
    2. Open the file you downloaded and follow the on-screen instruction to install the patch.
    3. After installing the patch, delete your printer from the Printer List in System Preferences, then add the printer to the list.
    4. Review your print settings to make sure the correct paper types are now available.
    If these instructions did not solve the problem, contact Epson support.
