How do I view 3D Images?
-
To view 3D content, you must first connect a 3D-compatible video device to one of the HDMI ports on your projector or the WirelessHD Transmitter (PowerLite Home Cinema 5010e). You will also need a pair of Epson or Epson-compatible M-3Di active shutter glasses.
- Turn on and begin playback on the 3D-compatible video device.
- Press the 2D/3D button on the remote control, if necessary.
- Press and hold the power button on your EPSON 3D glasses for at least one second. The power light will turn green and stay lit for about five seconds. Note: If using the EPSON 3D glasses for the first time, make sure you remove the battery protector strip.
To turn the glasses off, hold the power button for at least one second. The power light will flash three times when the glasses have turned off.
Note: In order to view 3D images correctly, 3D glasses must be worn within proper range of the projector. Use the image below to determine the ideal distance for 3D projection (the shading represents the 3D viewing area):
Use the optional external 3D IR emitter if you cannot view the 3D image normally or if the projector is located more than 16.5 feet (5 m) from the viewing area.
You can order the external 3D IR emitter (part number V12H484001) from the Epson Store or at an Epson Service Center. See the Epson Service Center locator on the Contact Us tab for your product.
