How can I improve the image quality?
-
Check the following:
- Make sure you select the best Color Mode for your picture and viewing environment, then use the settings in the Image menu to finish adjusting the picture.
- If the projected image is fuzzy or blurry, adjust the image focus.
- Make sure the Video Range setting is set to Auto. To turn on this setting, press the Menu button in the remote control and select Signal menu > Signal Format > Video Range.
For best results, connect your video equipment to the HDMI 1 or HDMI 2 port or DisplayPort connector. If your equipment doesn't support HDMI or DisplayPort, connect it to one of the following ports (highest quality listed first):
- Computer1 or Monitor Out/Computer2 with a VGA-to-component adapter cable (for component video)
Note: You can set Deinterlacing only when receiving a 480i, 576i, or 1080i input signal.
-
If you are projecting from a computer, adjust the computer's resolution to match the projector's native resolution, if possible.
Note: Digital correction features such as keystone, Quick Corner, zooming, and scaling can reduce the image quality. To improve the image quality, set these features to their factory defaults, and refocus the image.
