Limited Guarantee Statement for Epson Inkjet Papers

This limited guarantee applies to the packages of the following Epson brand papers:

  • Ultra Premium Photo Paper Glossy (4" x 6", 5" x 7", 8" x 10", 8.5" x 11")
  • Premium Photo Paper Glossy (4" x 6", 5" x 7", 8" x 10", 8.5" x 11", 11" x 17", 11.7" x 16.5", 13" x 19")
  • Photo Paper Glossy (4" x 6", 8.5" x 11", 11" x 17", 13" x 19")
  • Ultra Premium Photo Paper Luster (8.5" x 11", 11.7" x 16.5", 13" x 19")
  • Premium Photo Paper Semi-gloss (4" x 6", 8.5" x 11")
  • Ultra Premium Presentation Paper Matte (8.5" x 11", 11.7" x 16.5", 13" x 19")
  • Premium Presentation Paper Matte (8"x10", 8.5" x 11", 11" x 14", 11" x 17", 11.7" x 16.5", 13" x 19")
  • Premium Presentation Paper Matte Double-sided (8.5" x 11")

What is Covered
Epson America, Inc. ("Epson") warrants, to the original retail purchaser only, that any paper covered by this warranty will provide satisfactory output with all brands of consumer inkjet printers. A paper is covered by this warranty if its packaging refers to Epson's satisfaction guarantee and to this web page. The duration of this warranty is one (1) year from the date of original purchase.

What Epson Will Do
If you are not fully satisfied with the printed output, Epson will refund the original purchase price, plus the cost of return shipping (regular ground delivery), upon receipt of the unused portion of the paper and your original receipt within one year of the date of purchase. This remedy is your exclusive remedy for breach of this warranty.

How to Get a Refund
To obtain the refund, you must call 562-276-1346 for return authorization and instructions from an Epson Customer Service Representative. You are responsible for securely packaging the return paper and shipping it to Epson. Please Note: Do not send the paper to any address other than the one which will be provided to you by an Epson Customer Service Representative.

What Is Not Covered
This warranty covers normal use of the paper, in the United States and Canada, in inkjet printers designed for consumer use. It does not cover (a) any colour change or fading of prints or reimbursement of materials such as replacement paper and ink or services required for reprinting, (b) any product or components not provided by Epson, (c) damage caused by failure to provide a suitable environment for the paper, (d) damage caused by use of the paper for purposes other than those for which it was designed, (e) damage caused by disasters such as fire, flood, wind, and lightning, (f) damage during shipment, or (g) any other abuse or misuse by you.

Limit on Implied Warranties
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY, INCLUDING OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, IS LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY.

Exclusion of Damages
IN NO CASE SHALL EPSON OR ITS AFFILIATES OR REPRESENTATIVES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, WHETHER BASED ON BREACH OF WARRANTY, BREACH OF CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT TORT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.

Other Rights You May Have
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.

In Canada, warranties include both warranties and conditions.
