Using the Remote Control Feature

You can use your iOS device to control certain features on your Epson projector.

  1. Tap iProjection menu icon at the top of the app screen.

  2. Tap Remote.

    You can control the projector using the following buttons:

    Note: The available options will vary depending on the Epson projector you are using. If you are prompted to enter the remote password, the default password is guest. For information on changing your remote password, see your projector documentation.

    • Tap Computer screen 1 icon or Computer screen 2 icon to switch to the Computer 1 or 2 sources.
       
    • Tap HDMI 1 icon or HDMI 2 icon to switch to the HDMI 1 or 2 sources.
       
    • Tap Video source icon to switch to the video source.
       
    • Tap Network source icon to switch to the network source.
       
    • Tap USB-A source icon to switch to the USB-A source.
       
    • Tap USB-B source icon to switch to the USB-B source.
       
    • Tap Stop projection icon with slash mark over speaker once to temporarily stop projection, tap the icon again to resume normal display.
       
    • Tap pause icon once to freeze the image, tap the icon again to resume normal display.
       
    • Tap decrease volume icon to decrease the volume.
       
    • Tap increase volume icon to increase the volume.
       
    • Tap QR Code icon to display a QR code. You can scan this QR code with another device to quickly connect the device to the projector.
       
    • Tap Closed captioning icon to enable or disable closed captioning.
       
    • Tap Power button icon to turn the projector off.
       
    • Tap Icon of a blue hand tapping a screen to display a touch pad and navigate the projector's menus. You can swipe up or down to navigate up or down the menus, swipe left to go back, or swipe right to select an option.

    • Note: You can still use your projector's remote control while your product is connected to your iOS device.
